The Conference Award Fund, which was established as part of the collective bargaining settlement package recently ratified by component 1 members, is almost up and running.
The fund will provide up to $250 reimbursement of expenses for attendance at workshops and conferences related to professional or academic development. The fund will be distributed on a first come first serve basis up to the the amount of fund money available in any given month. As is common with the implementation of new collective agreements, there are still some administrative details to be established. We are hopeful that these details will be concluded early in the new year.
Once the application form is finalized it will be available on this website and an email notification will go out to all members of component 1.
