Greetings Component 2 Members!
We still have one Component 2 position on the Executive Board that remains vacant: the Member at Large. As there are still six months left in the term of office, and as it is important that Component 2 has full representation on the Executive, we are going to hold a by-election in hopes of filling the position.
Position description is as follows:
The Members At Large shall:
a. Be elected from each of the Components.
b. Sit on the Finance Committee.
c. Chair any of their Component’s Membership Meetings from which the Vice-President representing that component is absent.
Nominations will close Tuesday, October 12, at 10:00 AM; any nominations received will be posted on the CUPE 4163 webpage as they arrive. An online election will be held on October 12 and 13.
