philipcox events, Political Action

This Thursday, April 26th, France Castro, of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers will be at UVic to to discuss and take questions about the
struggles of education workers in the Philippines. The Philippines is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a union activist,
and Sister Castro has a great deal to share with Canadian teachers, union activists, and supporters of pubic services.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 in room 108 at the Graduate Student Society Halpern Building at UVic.
