We’re extremely excited to announce the first recipient of CUPE 4163’s Reconciliation Fund – The Aunty Collective!
The Aunty Collective is a creative practice, learning space for Indigenous artists and peoples. They prioritize creating space and supporting the agency of Indigenous 2SLGBTQIA+, women, and youth, and work to develop accessible opportunities for Indigenous artists of all mediums to take up space, learn and share knowledge, create, and nurture the future generations to come.
The Aunty Collective is located on Rock Bay Avenue above Wheelies Motorcycles and Cafe – we encourage everyone to go check this amazing space out, and not just for finding some unique Xmas gifts and incredible stocking stuffers!
Again – please check this out – it is truly heart lifting!
