Angie Reamer is CUPE 4163’s new Equity Vice- President. Please join me in welcoming Angie to her new role.
I’m very excited by this election. The strong voter turnout – especially in the summer – is tremendously encouraging, and shows how much 4163 members value equity and the support the work we need to do as a union.
Similarly, we have never before had 5 members run for the same position. I want to thank Susan, Georgia, Justin, Angie, and Nahid for stepping up and volunteering to take action fro equity within the union and UVic. That level of engagement is truly heartening.
