Component 3 Position Definitions

Sessional Lecturer:

A member who instructs credit courses or provides practicum supervision. There are two types of Sessional Lecturers:

Term Sessional Lecturer:

 Term Sessional lecturers typically apply for work through the Expressions of Interest (application process).

Continuing Sessional Lecturer:

Continuing Sessional lecturers have a guaranteed minimum course load they are assigned to without application.

Music Performance Instructor:

A member who provides music performance instruction (specific to the School of Music)  (a Music Performance Instructor can be a Term or Continuing instructor)
