Component 1 & 2 Collective Agreement Ratified

After Component 1 & 2 members voted 90% in favour of ratifying the proposed settlement, the University ratified the agreement March 2. Next steps will include implementing the new wage increases, having Payroll calculate and send out retroactive pay increases back to September 1, working with Human Resources to educate departments on the changes to the agreement and members’ conditions of work, and editing the collective agreement to incorporate all the changes.
